The origins of the HealthyHips™ 4-Week Program

This program was founded in 2018 as a rehabilitative therapeutic exercise program for patients at a physiotherapy clinic who had hip and/or low back conditions.

The program was well-received by the participants, and became a popular ongoing program to help patients with overall pain reduction, mobility improvements, and to mitigate the negative impact of degenerative changes such as osteoarthritis or spinal disc disorders.

Over the past 6 years, the program has been hosted multiple times in-person and over zoom, and refined based on real results and feedback from participants.

It has been specifically created for people who experience stiffness/tightness in the hips, pain in the hips or low back, or for people who are simply interested in a slow and therapeutic style of movement that yields mobility gains and increased proprioception (body awareness).

We are excited to now bring you the HealthyHips 4-Week Program as a pre-recorded online session! Learn how gentle, therapeutic movement can help improve mobility and address chronic pain.

The HealthyHips Team

“The online classes were excellent and easy to follow. What I really liked was being able to go back and repeat the classes. By doing this, I was able to improve my body awareness, strength and flexibility and reduce my pain.”

Iysha made it her mission to provide accessible therapeutic movement to the general population, giving her the purpose and drive to create HealthyHips
