About Somatics Exercises & Myofascial Release

Somatics are slow-moving, methodical movement exercises that help to improve joint mobility, increase body awareness (proprioception), and decrease pain perception. Somatics exercises are performed with the intention of focusing on sensation and the internal experience of the movement (interoception), rather than the external appearance or result of the movement. Myofascial release is a form of self-massage using a therapy ball to reduce chronic pain, release trigger points and fascial adhesions, as well as improve blood flow and mobility.

About Conscious Connected Breathwork

This type of breathwork involves a breathing pattern in which the breather intentionally connects the inhale with the exhale, without any pauses between the breaths. Emotions, memories, and deep feelings may arise during the practice. This is a safe container for you to feel. You may experience: temperature changes, tetany, dry mouth or throat, shaking or rigorous movement, tingling or numbness in the limbs.

About Iysha Nobes

RMT, ERYT-500, HealthyHips™ Founder

As a healthcare professional with a unique outlook on therapeutics, Iysha approaches movement classes from a therapeutic and sensory-based perspective, including somatics exercises, myofascial release, active mobility, pelvic-core strengthening, and yoga. With nearly a decade of experience in the field, Iysha takes an evidence-based and anatomical approach to her work. During Iysha’s classes, you can expect a fun & therapeutic approach to movement. Iysha is the Founder and CEO of HealthyHips™.

In her private practice, Iysha provides quality rehabilitative care to her patients through acupuncture/dry needling, kin taping, soft tissue release and manual therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and yoga therapy. Iysha is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a graduate from the McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program.

My life's calling is to guide individuals on their healing journeys. My path to this purpose was illuminated by the profound lessons of honesty and vulnerability. Now, I carry these transformative teachings with me as I assist others in their pursuit of self-discovery and healing. Since 2019, I've been immersed in the practices of breathwork and meditation. These disciplines have become my guiding lights, offering pathways to inner peace and self-awareness. They have enabled me to access the profound love of the universe and connect with the divine presence of God. Through our shared experiences of love and pain, we are bound to one another and to the world around us. This profound sense of unity informs my approach to healing and guides me in assisting others in their healing processes. Let's embark on this journey of healing, love, and unity.

About Aleah Wilson

Release Breathwork Co-founder, Facilitator, Reiki Practitioner

I am a certified Reiki Level 2 practitioner who is passionate about personal growth and energy work. My transformative healing journey began in 2017, when I was temporarily paralyzed from a serious autoimmune disorder and diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Through this journey I learned to tap into my own innate healing abilities. This life-altering experience has shaped my commitment to holistic wellness and has been a catalyst for my current endeavours. I have not only found resilience within myself but also a deep commitment to helping others unlock their own healing potential. My goal at every session is to create a safe space for emotions and pain to be processed and released. As I continue to explore the boundless realms of breathwork and healing, my mission is to empower others on their journeys towards self-discovery, growth, and well-being.
